SAP for Utilities News - Summer Issue Just Released

I am happy to inform you that I just published a new issue of the SAP Headline News, our newsletter for customer, partners, colleagues and all who are interested in utilities-specific SAP news.

Here are some highlights of this issue include:

• Kick-off SAP Cloud for Utilities Co-Innovation Group

In the previous newsletter we informed you about the major investments in the utilities cloud portfolio in this article. Since then, the co-innovation group was launched at the SAP AppHaus in Heidelberg. Customers, Accenture, and SAP experts were introduced to the SAP Cloud for Utilities program, the benefits of co-innovating with SAP and were asked to join the co-innovation group. In the next phase, the co-innovation group will work with SAP and customers on business KPIs and requirements that are to be included in the future SAP Cloud for Utilities suite. • SAP S/4HANA Guidelines by the German-Speaking SAP User Group (DSAG)

Many utilities companies are currently planning the transformation of their current SAP for Utilities landscape to SAP S/4HANA Utilities. This raises many questions about the best strategy and the possible business value of SAP S/4HANA Utilities. The working group for Utilities within the German-speaking SAP user group (DSAG) addressed these questions in a guideline, which clearly presents the facts required to make decisions and to deal with any open topics that are currently being discussed in the market.
