June Updates for SAP Business One Mobile Sales and Service App (updated Jun 27 2019)
Hello, I’m happy to inform you about new versions of our apps. since yesterday there are updates available.
SAP Business One Service, iOS App Version 1.0.12 (published June 12th, 2019)
- Support Barcode Scanning to quickly add Items in a Sales Order (requires SAP Business One 9.3 PL10)
- Support up to 10 most recent searches in the search bar when adding Items
- Support iPad and iPhone Xs, Xs Max, XR
- Technical improvement (SAP Note 2765827)

- Support Layout to view Sales Quotation and Sales Order in PDF Format. PDF can be shared or edited via mobile (requires SAP Business One 9.3 PL10)

is SAP Business One 9.3 PL10 required for Barcode Scanning on all versions of the apps (Service and Sales app, IOS/Android) or just for the IOS Service app as is indicated by this blog?
Dear Ondrej, good point. Barcode Scanning requires a recent backend, means 9.3 PL10 indeed.

Thank you Peter, that's a shame. I was hoping it would work on PL09. Just out of curiosity, is there any reason why it requires PL:10? Are there any Service Layer improvements in that specific PL?

Unfortunately it doesn't work with lower PL. To support new features as the bar code scanning, we typically have to extend the mobile service (mobile backend) on top of service layer. This changed mobile service is only released with the complete patch. Best, Peter
