First SAP Inside Track RuhrPOTT 2019 at a glance

Hi All,

a couple of months ago I wrote a blog of our first SAP Inside Track RuhrPOTT (in short sitPOTT).

On Saturday, May 25th, now was the great day.

More than 60 SAP geeks from different countries met in Essen at Thyssen Krupp Material Services (thx for hosting) for this event (see group picture below)

Following Witalij’s blog I will provide our

major ingredients for a successful SAP Inside Track

1. Speakers

We had a full packed agenda with two tracks in parallel, in total with 18 speakers.

And, we also got live streaming of both tracks running, huge thanks for organizing this by Gregor and Oliver

All details about agenda, sessions and video streams will be found on our wiki site.

2. Participants

Beneath all the sessions there was enough time for talking and networking

3. Food and drink

Refreshments were also served. Not only fingerfood but also warm lunch.

4. and Sponsors

A huge THANK YOU to our sponsors, without them this event wouldn’t be possible.

5. Code Jam

We had a Code Jam on Friday afternoon, room full packed, about ABAP Code Migration by Thomas Fieldler and Ingo Bräuninger

6. Pre-/Post-Event

After hard days work, it was time for relaxing!

7. Team

Such an event is only possible to organize with a team around you!

I’m proud that we had such a great Orga-Team:

Fabian, Dominik, Roland, René, Andreas and Jens.

Conclusion

This was our first event as organizers, but it will definitely not the last one.

Stay tuned for 2020

Actually we already schedule the date for 2020:

sitPOTT2020 will be back at 06.06.2020.

CU soon

Roland

WOW, Roland. It is so great to see how many participants you had at your FIRST SAP Inside Track #sitPOTT. Amazing!

And thanks for sharing these details about #sitPOTT. As already mentioned earlier, it is so easy to do and it really gives you an insight about what happened that day - and maybe it helps also other event organizer to get an idea how to conduct some organizational things.

Well done, Roland, and thanks for your ongoing contribution 🙂
