Connector Builder Guide – Implement Polling
Open Connectors consists of over 170 connectors to 3rd Party Applications natively embedded in the SAP ecosystem. If the Connector you need does not exist in the catalog, you can build it quickly with Connector Builder. This instruction guide will walk you through using this tool, with concrete examples throughout. The beginning, Part 1, can be found here.
To implement polling, name the resource and click Add Polling Resource.
We won’t use the Event Hook for polling – it is used for webhooks.
Here is an example of Autotask Finance – the customer payload will contain the ID Field, the date fields, and the date format. It will also contain the timezone.
The where clause is a valid where clause, just like you would use in a resource which is in the next screen under the Resources tab.
