Registration Steps for SAP Certification.

In this blog will discuss in detail how to register for Certification and Changes in the Certification process.

There is a lot of confusion among people regarding this certification and all and getting a lot of  queries regarding this so thought to share my knowledge with all

First will see on New Certification Process: –

  • Now SAP has reduced its certification cost to 587 USD, it’s a Cloud-Based Certification that means its not cloud version of HANA, it’s a Cloud-Based Exam when you can write the exam from anywhere no need to visit SAP Certification Center and write the exam from there,
  • The Certification in the Cloud subscription provides you with a 12- months access to the Certification Hub, where you can schedule up to a maximum of 6 exam bookings over your subscription period. Your subscription is valid for all exams available for booking in the Certification Hub. You also can take each exam up to a maximum of three times. The exams are remotely proctored via a webcam on your PC or laptop and you can schedule your exam 24 x 7 via the Certification Hub.
  • After successfully passing the exam you will receive an SAP Global Certification digital badge.

  • Hi Ruthvik,

Thank you for the detailed information! This is really helpful. Just wanted to understand do we need to pay any additional charges at the time of scheduling the certification?

  • Wow lovely Post absolutely great stuff. I had many  confusion related to the Certification now it’s very easy and clear. Informative stuff about SAP Certification. Cheers…

  • Hello Ruthvik,

Thank you for the detailed information!

If I understand correctly, purchasing CER006 certification allows us to do 6 certifications, is that right?

Also for registering in India what I have learnt is that we have to send an email to education.india@sap.com for the process to register for the examination. They will provide us the steps as you have shown above and they will also provide bank account details in which we need to do NEFT transfer of the examination fees with GST. Then again we need to send an email to SAP mentioning the NEFT details and transaction screenshot with Order ID. They will activate the order within 48/72 hours (for which we will receive an email from SAP).

Please confirm the number of certifications we can do? Thank you!

    Shrikant

  • Hello Ruthvik,

    Thanks for these details?

Could you also let us know how you prepared for certifications? Did you referered to any specific materials? From SAP Learning Hub etc?

    Thanks,

    Dhananjay

  • Hello Ruthvik,

This Post is really helpful about the process, but couldn’t solve my problem.

In payment page of SAP INDIA, I see only PO, Activation Code and Preferred Card.

Will you be able to comment on this?

    Thanks in advance

    • Hello Sethupathii,

You need to keep country as US / any other as said in above with reason if its India, we have to send an email to education.india@sap.com for the process to register for the examination. They will provide us with the steps as I have shown above and they will also provide bank account details in which we need to do NEFT transfer of the examination fees with GST. Then again we need to send an email to SAP mentioning the NEFT details and transaction screenshot with Order ID. They will activate the order within 48/72 hours (for which we will receive an email from SAP).

  • Hi,

I am planning for TSCM62 certification. I am relying on my work experience to get certified. I wanted to know if at any point of time in the process of acquiring the certification, if SAP will ask for a proof of completion of coursework/training from SAP?

In other words, is coursework/training from SAP a mandatory requirement to enroll myself in a certification?

    Thank you.

    Regards,

    Sriram Jegadeesh

    • Hello Sriram,

Your question is not clear to me in the first place

      1. There is no such certification with code TSCM62
      2. SAP won’t ask any proof of course completion or training
      3. If your confident that’s only mandatory for giving certification nothing else is mandatory
      • Hi Ruthvik,

I expected the question to be complicated to appreciate. But you have given me the answer that I was looking for (“SAP won’t ask any proof of course completion or training”). Thank you for that.

The certification I am interested in is ‘C_TSCM62_67 – SAP Certified Application Associate – Sales and Distribution, ERP 6.0 EhP7’

        Regards,
        Sriram Jegadeesh
