It is this time of the year where everyone gets excited about the annual WWDC conference in San Jose. This is THE event for the iOS/Swift community and SAP will show presence outside of the conference like in the last years.

We will promote our SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS with some new challenges for the community. In the last years we had tailored tutorials ready to complete, this year we have prepared backends for you to develop against.

Over the last years the SDK evolved to a nice catalogue of APIs to build next generation enterprise iOS apps for all available size classes. This year we want to see what an iOS developer can achieve with our SDK.

We will provide 3 different backends for you to choose from. You will deploy a Java application backend in your SAP Cloud Platform account. With that you will have your own database instance with its own backend endpoint. Using the SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS Assistant you can generate your app stub including all necessary authentication code.

With that you can go crazy using the SDK and build an app.

The event will be in the Hyatt Place San Jose/Downtown on June 6th from 9am – 6pm:
282 S Almaden Blvd

San Jose

CA 95113

For more detailed information please read the blog post of Ian Thain. I will attend WWDC myself so will drop in and out of the CodeJam but we will have developers from the SDK team there to answer all the questions you might have.

Looking forward to see you all on WWDC and the SAP CodeJam event at the Hyatt Place in San Jose.

As always Happy Coding!
