Apple & SAP have been partners now since Tim Cook & Bill McDermott met in 2016 and it’s been a great few years. They met again at SAP’s SAPPHIRE NOW conference in Orlando to announce the future of business apps a few weeks ago. If you haven’t seen the conversation check it out here at https://youtu.be/FU-WSyoCZtc
Two years ago @SAPDevs held our first SAP CodeJam meeting outside of Apple’s annual World-Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Jose. That was a year into our partnership and just after the first version of our Swift SDK became available. We then repeated this in 2018 and now we are doing it again at WWDC 2019!
This year’s meeting will be held in:
Salon 1 at the Hyatt Place
282 S Almaden Blvd
San Jose, CA 95113
Hyatt Place is on the opposite side of the Convention Center. We will be there on Thursday June 6 2019 from 9am – 6pm. This meeting is free flow, where you the iOS Developer can come and discuss our SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS along with the SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services. We will have some experts on hand to answer any questions and guide you in your journey.
It’s free to attend and you can stay as long as you like, WWDC attendee or not. All we ask is that you come equipped with your MacBook and iOS devices and prepared to code. To make the flow of your meeting a little easier, it would be great if you follow some pre requisites, as outlined below.
Before attending make sure you follow these first two steps:
- Downloaded the free SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS version 3.0 SP01.
- Register for a free developer trial account on SAP Cloud Platform. See Get a Free Trial Account on SAP Cloud Platform.
You can also follow these steps, but our experts can help you with that onsite:
- Enable the SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services. See Enable SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services.
- After installing the SDK configure Mobile Services in the iOS Assistant. See Configure Mobile Services in the iOS Assistant
Come over and see us at any time which is convenient to yourself https://www.sap.com/community/events/codejam/wwdc.html, we’re excited to see what you can create!
