No, we did not release a “FitBit for Recruiters” – I think there may be a revolt if we did that. We did, however, build a different type of activity tracker within the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting solution. In Q2 we released a candidate activity tracker for sourcers and recruiters so they can keep tabs on and be proactively notified of actions their most critical candidates are taking on their career site.
This means recruiters and sourcers can see when a candidate started an application, abandoned an application, filled out a data form, and much more. With this knowledge a timely email, text, or phone call can make the difference between interest in a job and a new hire.
Message Center is the best center
Additionally, this quarter we released Message Center. A single location where recruiters and sourcers can send messages to candidates, receive replies back, and have it all visible in one place. This threaded discussion takes the guesswork out of the conversation between a recruiter and a candidate. This can be helpful if a new recruiter comes on board, or it has been awhile since you last engaged with a specific candidate.
Recently, we have developed significant functionality focused on the candidate experience and how to improve it throughout the hiring process. In Q2, the release was focused very heavily on the recruiter experience and improving recruiter efficiency to help ensure our customers’ talent acquisition success against competitors.
