SAP SuccessFactors adheres to strict policies for providing consultant access to Customer systems

Setting up SAP SuccessFactors Solutions requires what is referred to as “Provisioning Access” to customers’ instances. This provides access to manage settings and configuration options to deploy the software solutions.

First, SAP SuccessFactors Solutions Provisioning Access is restricted to only SAP Certified Consultants or Certified Consultants working for an Authorized SAP Partner.

SAP Global Certification allows implementation experts to keep their skills up to date and stay current with SAP Certifications with training and exams that are continuously updated after every SAP cloud product release.

Certified consultants must have a minimum of an Associate-level Certification and have passed the most recent Delta Exam for each SAP SuccessFactors Solution they will be implementing.  We strongly recommend, however, that you seek to have at least one Certified Consultant who has completed our Professional Certification for the solutions they will be implementing: See SAP SuccessFactors Solutions Professional Certification for further information.

Secondly, Customers must give their approval, in writing, for each Certified Consultant who will need Provisioning Access. The approval can be triggered from within SAP SuccessFactors Admin Center or the formal email template can be completed and sent to the Certified Consultant to attach to their request.

Proof of SAP SuccessFactors Solutions Certification and Customer Approval are reviewed before the Certified Consultant will be given access to the Customer Instance. If you have purchased SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) the provisioning process is slightly different; as such customers should request proof of consultant’s ECP certification.

Much of the system settings accessible from provisioning are related to initial setup and implementation. Customers, however, do not get access to provisioning. After implementation, SAP SuccessFactors Admin Center is available to customers to perform ongoing administrative activities.

After you go live with your SAP SuccessFactors Solutions, in the event a system change is required through provisioning, you can engage an authorized SAP SuccessFactors partner with the same criteria listed above or you can contact SAP Services.
