Single Touch Payroll Integration in SAP Cloud Platform

Introduction –

Single Touch Payroll is a change to the way employers report their employees’ tax and super information to ATO. Using payroll or accounting software that offers STP, employers send their employees’ tax and super information to ATO each time they run their payroll and pay their employees. The information is sent to ATO either directly from the software, or through a third party – such as a sending service provider. Software providers can tell you more about how they offer STP reporting.

Integration Steps –

  1. Pre-requisite

We have to Ensure that the SCPI tenant is provisioned and live.Make sure a user is available with their password for the SCPI tenant in case you prefer to use Basic Authentication for the communication from SAP ERP. The user whom you will engage for the communication must be assigned the following permission:
  • ESBMessaging.send on the <tenant>iflmap application
  • AuthGroup.Administrator on the <tenant>tmn application
  • AuthGroup.IntegrationDeveloper on the <tenant>tmn applicationSteps to assign Authorizations -Goto SCP Cockpit
    Select SubAccount
    Click on Authorizations
Give UserID “S00XXXXXXXX” and then “Show Assignments”
    Click on “Assign”
    Select Subaccount “avshcip”
    Select Application “<tenant>tmn”
Select Role “AuthGroup.Administrator”Perform similar steps for other two authorizations, You could also create Group with all Authorizations and assign Group to New Users whenever required.

Pointers –

  1. While accessing tenant Link :: https://<tenantID>-tmn.hci.ap1.hana.ondemand.com/itspaces getting Error “HTTP Status 403 – Forbidden”, it seems issue with authorization, check if you have correctly assigned authorizations to UserID as mentioned in Pre-requisites
  2. Make sure, you have mentioned correct login credentials in SOAMANAGER in ERP system, i.e. user having SCPI Authorizations, Otherwise you may face issues while testing
  3. <tenant>iflmap application will be activated after deploying any IFlows.State (Offline) before deployment of Iflow –

State (Online) after deployment of Iflow –
