1905 SAP Marketing Cloud Help Portal Page and User Assistance Now Live
Dear All,
With the general availability of SAP Marketing Cloud 1905, the corresponding Help Portal page is also publicly available at http://help.sap.com/mkt, as is the in-app User Assistance.
(Need a reminder of where to find the User Assistance? Watch this 2-minute video:https://enable.cx.sap.com/playlist/dedicated/89743651/1_39ytllt1/1_ulxzzete).
So, what have we been doing since the last release! Well, here are just a few things you shouldn’t miss.
What’s New in What’s New?
Finding out what’s new or changed from release to release should be smooth and effortless, with no nasty surprises. We want to ensure you miss none of the changes, regardless of where you start, whether on the Product Page, the Release Center or Fiori Launchpad so we’ve enhanced the launchpad carousel.
From the What’s New Help Carousel (the orange one!) you can now quickly access a slideshow of the release highlights, a full list of what’s new functions and features, while orange hotspots both in-app and on the launchpad alert you to new apps, apps to be deprecated in future, and unexpected changes.
Multimedia Assets – New Tutorials and Videos
It’s always worth browsing the Learning and the Watch Videos tiles in the carousel. The tutorial library has meanwhile expanded to 50 tutorials. Subscribe to the SAP Marketing Cloud YouTube channel to keep up-to-date with the latest video publications – we added 3 new deep dive videos this release.
APIs – Field Documentation
The move of field documentation to XML format is an ongoing effort.
In the 1905 Integration Guide, you’ll find more and more OData APIs are providing field documentation in the form of an XML metadata file. Just search for “metadata” in the API service documentation to find the link. Here’s an example.
We hope you like what we’ve done. If you do, please share it with your colleagues. And please keep your feedback coming. We’re all ears!
Thanks and best regards,
Joan for the UA team
Hi Joan Garloff ,
nice article and thanks.
The example to the metadata is pointing to a SAP internal URL
Myself and probably a lot other people are not able to open it.
Thanks and regards
Maik
Hi Maik,
Thanks for your comment. We are working on providing a URL that externals readers will be able to open as well. For 1908.
