Let Pick & Pack Ignore Non-Inv. Items

It is quite common that businesses deliver to their customers goods and services in one go. For example, when purchasing a new dishwasher a technician comes over, installs the machine and provides instructions for regular usage and maintenance. The technician visit is a non-inventory item that may be included in the delivery document.

By default, the Pick & Pack Manager is set to consider both inventory and non-inventory items however if needed, SAP Business One enables you to exclude non-inventory items from the Pick & Pack Manager:

When selected, all non-inventory items are excluded from appearing in the Pick and Pack Manager, and when generating a pick list from within the context menu of an order, non-inventory items will not be copied to that pick list.

Available from SAP Business One 9.1, version for SAP HANA PL11 and SAP Business One 9.1 PL11. This tip and all the other tips are available on the Tip of the week community page. You can also visit the Implementation Arena for useful implementation tips.
