Today I want to cover a detail that might not be clear about a feature that we have available in business configuration: the Average Product Quantity Proposal for Sales Orders.
In its Overview and Relevance we can see that:
“You can enable the product quantity proposal to be calculated; When a new Product is added to the sales order then product quantity will be proposed based on the past history of that product for account”
However, when you are creating a sales order and a adding a product, its quantity might not be proposed based on past history of that product for the account selected. And you might be wondering what is wrong with the system. Please, keep this in mind:
Only sales orders which have status as Completed and NOT canceled will be considered for the average quantity calculation.
