In this interactive influence session, we will talk about your existing SAP application development processes and the bottlenecks for your teams. We will discuss how SAP Fiori Elements ensure design consistency while reducing the amount of frontend code needed to build SAP Fiori apps. This is your chance to shape the future of how you will build apps more quickly.
- Data protection for the intelligent enterprise - In the fast-paced data driven era of the intelligent enterprise, traditional role-based data access restrictions may not cover the increasingly complex data protection and privacy scenarios SAP customers face.
We want to depict and discuss more complex use cases, and outline ideas how to cover these by
- dynamically keeping sensitive data out of the reach of users unless needed;
- protocoling attempted and successful access, allowing for forensic analysis as well as monitoring with real-time detection of potential threats which will in turn allow for pre-emptive actions.
We are looking to engage with security and data protection experts, to test and develop our ideas and learn where we should be venturing from this “nucleus” of a data protection suite.
- Influence the future of the Utilities Commerce Accelerator - In a rapid changing environment Utilities are seeking for ways to quickly Go-To-Market with new business models. The SAP Commerce Cloud offers, as an omni-channel platform, capabilities around selling, product definition and basic self-services. The Utilities Accelerator aims to even be a better fit for the industry as it is already offering a Utility storefront, complex bundles, guided selling and much more.

- SAP S/4HANA Finance - The Evolution of the Universal Journal - The FI accounting documents and CO documents have been merged into full-fledged journal entries in the universal journal. This groundbreaking achievement is not the end of the journey, however. Around the bend we can expect even more fundamental developments that enhance ease of use of the unified accounting landscape.
Here are a few highlights:
- No time-consuming adjustment postings will be necessary anymore. Thanks to the single source of truth, all areas will be updated in parallel. Legal reporting and decision support are based on the same data.
- Currency handling will be unified in all parts of financials (up to 10 currencies will be supported - even in management accounting)
- Parallel shifted fiscal years don´t force you to set up multiple controlling areas
- SAP Vision for Smart Retail Store - We would like to validate our vision for Smart Store with our customers and collect feedback.
- Real Customer Attacks Detected With SAP Enterprise Threat Detection - Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD) is the SAP approach to real-time threat and attack monitoring and gives organizations the necessary time to act and prevent damage. This session highlights real life customer use cases and the countermeasures by ETD based on pre-delivered content of attack patterns which continuously expand the product’s capabilities by provisioning new content. We will show examples of how reconnaissance already triggers alerts and how they can be forensically analyzed. Moreover, we will show a recent proof of concept in monitoring industrial IoT scenarios to demonstrate that this approach is relevant and applicable to quite different scenarios as well.
- Onboarding UX on SAP Cloud Platform - The SAP cloud platform offers many ways to realize your User Experience (UX) needs. Come to this roundtable to share your experience or learn from others onboarding to the SAP Cloud Platform.
- Predictive Maintenance for Utilities - Help us better understand your specific needs for Condition-Based Maintenance / Predictive Maintenance business processes. What data you need to collect, how you need it to be analyzed for making decision, and what follow-up activities they need to yield.
