Deploying SAP Best Practices for SAP SuccessFactors pre-configurations via SAP Upgrade Center – Update, April 2019
Dear SAP SuccessFactors Community,
It’s been a year since I wrote a blog about the Activation of SAP Best Practices via SAP Upgrade Center. In this blog I shared details on our goal to automate the deployment of SAP Best Practices by gradually moving the entire configuration to SAP Upgrade Center. Once available in SAP Upgrade Center, it is possible to deploy relevant configuration blocks flexible and fast, with a click on a button. (Please be aware that this is no customer self-service and only SAP Professional Services and Partners can deploy SAP Best Practices.)
We started with SAP Best Practices for Employee Central and added Recruiting Management just recently. The fact that more than 200 customers have successfully loaded our business configuration into their systems makes us proud.
Today, I am happy to announce that SAP Best Practices for Performance & Goals and Succession & Development are available in SAP Upgrade Center. You should check them out!
The predefined configuration for Compensation and Recruiting Marketing is not yet automated and must be consumed via Load & Activate where upload files (xml, csv) and manual Configuration Guides help to set up your system.
With having almost all Talent Management modules automated and available via SAP Upgrade Center, the pre-configured Talent Management Master Instance will no longer exist.
