SAP Partner Solution Center went with SAP Partner through a 3 day Journey to Intelligent Enterprise. The participants gained skills to create a S/4HANA proposal for Net New Names and Installed Base Customers. They have now the confidence to approach the customers to Move to Intelligent Enterprise.

SAP Best Practices for S/4HANA plays a Major role in the journey of the Intelligent Enterprise

By selecting the Scope Items of the SAP Best Practices for S/4HANA, SAP Partner & Customer will not only get the pre-configured solution with detailed project documentation (Scope Presentation, Test Scripts, Process Flows, Configurations guides,...), they gain the skills of new innovated business processes and features including Machine Learning.

Day 1 - Intelligent ERP Project Scope

The first day the participants worked in teams and defined the Intelligent ERP project scope based on SAP Best Practices for S/4HANA. By analyzing the customer circumstances with the BSR Business Scenario Recommendations and the Readiness Check the SAP Partner received profound information. By mapping the the current ERP scope with the BP Scope Items they can cover easily 60-80% of the ERP Scope and achieving 100+% with adjustments in customizing and development.

A key in the journey is to bring the customer back to ERP standard and keep the ERP constantly on the latest and newest version. On that way customer are available to use constantly all new innovations.  The required development still can be done but strongly recommended to do it in SCP SAP Cloud Platform.

Day 2 - Fiori Launchpad

The 2nd day the project teams gained basics and special Fiori skills. By using a SAP S/4HANA Fully-Activated Appliance running on Amazon Web Service AWS, participant were practicing and were using their own devices (Laptops). By using the SAP Best Practices for S/4HANA documents and accelerators there were available to prepare a Fiori life demo. They are very impressed about the embedded analytics capabilities.

Day 3 - Value Assessment & Return on Investment

Based on the gained skills in day 1 & 2 the project reams entered the defined project scope into the SAP Transformation Navigator including the Quick Value Assessment. By selecting the Value Driver based on the project scope, doing an aspiration and calculating the one-time and recurring benefits, the participants completed the first part of the return on investment. The 2nd part was to calculate the costs. Based on the chosen deployment option, we chose the conversion, we analyzed the SAP software licenses and subscriptions, project efforts for conversion and SCP developments including the Infrastructure. The participants were surprised about how fast the pay back is and return on investment.
