SAP was sponsoring and attending iOSCon 2019 in London for the third year in row. For those who don’t know this event, it is a two day conference for and with iOS/ Swift - developers to connect and learn. The conference is in the heart of the City of London in a beautiful startup like atmosphere.

Skills Matter who is the organizer for this conference did a great job feeling everyone welcome and provided the perfect environment for knowledge exchange, a big thank you for that. In total there were 320 - 350 attendees over the two day conference, the highest since its creation.

We spoke to the attendees about SAP, the Apple + SAP Partnership and the SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS. Attendees were really interested in what SAP, as a Business Software company, is doing in the iOS community to provide the perfect toolkit for enterprise ready iOS apps.

Everyday SAP had a raffle for the attendees to win 3 Homekit ready Smart Home devices. Around 75+ people joined the raffle everyday and we put some smiles on the winner’s faces.

Another highlight for us as SAP was the possibility to have a lightning talk about “Meeting Business Users Expectations”. I was talking about how important user experience is for enterprise apps and how you as business software provider can achieve that. Around 40 people joined the talk and enabled us to have great conversations about that topic after the talk.

Overall the conference was a great success for us as SAP as also for all the great and smart developers who attended the conference.

If you are interested in my lightning talk you can find the recording here.

As always, Happy Coding everyone!
