Report and Repair Malfunction Fiori App – Unable to add parts
In the Fiori Application “Report and Repair Malfunction” when creating a Malfunction Report, the “Assigned To” field is not prefilled with the logon user’s employee number.
After creation of a malfunction report, the toolbar with status-related actions, e.g. “Start Work” or “Release” does not appear.
When clicking “Add Parts”, an error message “No work item has been assigned to you” appears.
Resolution for the above problem:
Check if the HR assignment of the logon user id is maintained properly in simplified HCM (Tcode PA30). In the employee master records, ensure that info type 0105 (Communication), subtypes 0001 (System User) and 0010 (E-Mail Address) have been maintained.
Configure the Employee-to-Business Partner Synchronization process in the backend system. This automated process synchronizes HR master data to the simplified HCM (sHCM) data model. Run the synchronization report:
/SHCM/RH_SYNC_BUPA_EMPL_SINGLE for a specified set of employee numbers or
/SHCM/RH_SYNC_BUPA_FROM_EMPL for all employees
One can review the synchronization logs in transaction SLG1:
Sub object BUPA_SYNC
For every employee there will be one log entry.]
