Introduction


SAP Cloud Platform provides open connectors to enable the connectivity with wide range of cloud applications. It enables the seamless integration of 3rd party applications in one go.

In this blog we will see how to create a open connector instance for Google drive followed by an API Provider, API Proxy and policy configuration in SAP API Management trial access.

Prerequisites

  1. SCP trial access - To get trial access refer this blog


 

Activate Open Connector instance


Step - 1: Login to SAP Cloud Platform trial here



 



 

Step - 2:  Navigate to Services in the menu



 

 



 

Step - 3: Search for Open connector



 

Step - 4: Service will be in deactivated state, Activate the same





 

Step - 5: Once it is activated, Click the Go to Service to open the service

 



 



 

Repeat the step 3 & 4 to activate the API management under services (note : search with API Management)



 

 

so we have completed the trial account creation and activation of required services in this part, In the upcoming part, we will explore the open connector instance creation for Google drive
