Asset central foundation - the digital twin for physical assets - ensures consistent master and transactional data across all modules of SAP Intelligent Asset Management. In the 1902 release we’ve improved the ease of use with enhanced personalization capabilities using the latest SAP Fiori launchpad technology so you can focus the objects you need most on a daily basis.
In SAP Predictive Maintenance and Service, we’ve enhanced our indicator chart so it supports on-the-fly conversion of indicator values from one unit of measure to another. In machine learning customers and partners can bring their own algorithms for health score calculations allowing them to combine business processes and integration functionalites with their asset-specific knowledge much more easily. We also improved the quality and performance of the in-built automated algorithms. This enables engineers to set up and adjust complex machine learning algorithms to identify asset problems without the need of data science knowledge. Lastly, there is better organization of machine learning models using tags when configuring a model. Once a model is scored successfully, you can view the scores in the indicator chart using the Health Indicator Model Management application.
We have improved the collaborative power of SAP Asset Intelligence Network - Digital Services now support sharing of catalog content. Content providers and partners can add different kinds of master data like advanced documentation, failure mode libraries or repair instructions to content groups and assign them to packages in the SAP App Center. As soon as the package is bought by a customer the content is automatically shared with the business partner.
SAP Asset Strategy and Performance Management now supports Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) which is an industry standard to further improve your maintenance strategies. We also introduced advanced checklists that support the RCM process – enabling you to create dynamic questionnaires where follow-up questions or actions depend on the previous answer given by the user. This improves the end user experience and enables much more comprehensive and detailed results.
In SAP Predictive Engineering Insights enabled by ANSYS, we have a new Simulation as a Service to run what-if simulations so you can find out which usage scenario best suits your requirements and compare results. Without installing any new monitoring devices on physical equipment, engineers can apply the information from virtual sensors on the model to address potential issues before downtime occurs.
