As I round the corner on my 2nd year at SAP, I find myself looking forward to my first presentation to the ASUG community at the ASUG Northern California Chapter meeting on March 19th in San Jose. I will be sharing what it takes to build mobile scenarios with SAP Screen Personas, although there will be plenty of information that applies to desktop scenarios (our most common use case), as well.
While this will be my first presentation to a live ASUG audience, it certainly won’t be my first ASUG meeting. I actually had the opportunity to attend one in my second week as an intern here at SAP. My time was spent as a fly on the wall, seeing it as an opportunity to get a better understanding of how customers use SAP to run their businesses. As someone without prior enterprise software experience, it was an eye opener into how people actually interact with their SAP systems. It also sparked a passion for happy live customers that continues to drive my work to this day.
In the two years since, I’ve had plenty of great opportunities to engage with customers through support-related functions, pushing out content on creating a better work experience with SAP, with a strong focus on SAP Screen Personas.
For the upcoming ASUG meeting (my session runs from 11:15 AM to 12:05 PM), I will discuss how SAP Screen Personas makes it easy to convert classic transaction screens into intuitive SAP Fiori apps that run on your desktop, tablet, or phone. I will also demo the process so that you can see how fast and easy it is in real time. Of course, we’ll also leave some time for questions!
