Mission Control: How to find the best SAP tutorial missions
We’ve created a whole new bunch of tutorial missions for you to learn the latest in SAP Technology — and to earn badges. Before showing you the content, let’s review how you can find the best tutorials.

As always, you can view all our tutorials in the SAP Tutorial Navigator.
The first tiles – green – are all the missions for which you can earn badges. The ones created or updated in the last 60 days are labeled with NEW.
You can also see all the tutorial badges you can earn in the SAP Community’s Missions and Badges page.
Then go to the Developer Tutorial Missions section (links on the right of the page).
The badge icon is also the icon you see when you search for them in the SAP Tutorial Navigator or view the mission page.
Finally, see the badges you’ve earned in your SAP Community profile – I did the recent Tour the SAP Community mission (worth a go), and the 2018 TechEd mission.
You can see your badges by going to the SAP Community, logging in, and going to your dashboard. Go to your reputation area to see all your badges.
In my next blogs, I’ll highlight some of the latest and coolest new missions and tutorials, almost all designed so you can do them right now on free trial systems.

Hi Daniel,
The tutorial missions are great. Unfortunately, the first one I have tried seems to be impossible to complete. One of the tutorial parts has no "Done" or "Submit Answer" buttons so it is impossible to complete that part, therefore impossible to complete the mission, I think.
The tutorial mission I'm referring to is: Get Started with SAP Data Hub, trial edition
Here is a link to the part that as of now has no buttons to allow completion:

There is an open issue in GitHub for this and I added a comment to that. So maybe it will be fixed soon. Just thought I would mention it here as well. I'd like to complete this one soon. 🙂
Thanks for the note. I have fixed. Can you try again and let me know when you have completed the entire mission?
Thanks Daniel! I completed and now the mission is showing complete, in the developer area.
How long does it take for the badge to show up on my community profile? I also completed Tour the Community a couple days ago, and that hasn't shown up yet. With the openSAP badges I was told they only update monthly. Is that the case for these too?
I appreciate your help.
It does take a couple of weeks/month, though we are working to speed up the process.
Caroleigh Deneen How long do you think it will take?
Hi me and Margaret Hilsbos
We are processing the badge assignments on the profile weekly now to help improve the experience. I typically upload on Friday's, for the previous Friday to Thursday completions. Glad you are enthusiastic Margaret! Check back on Friday and you should find them in your profile.
Sounds good! Thanks Caroleigh!
I just discovered the developer tutorials recently and think that feature is a great value add to SAP community. Thanks to all who have worked on and are continuing to work on providing those!
Great
Hi Daniel ,
i have just been recently introduced to SAP tutorial Navigator and as a new sap developer i find the steps easy to follow and the whole proces is intuitive in general .
I do have one question.
Might it be possible to share the learning Achievements i.e Bagdes to Business social media platforms eg. Linkedin or Xing ?
your Reply is much appreciated.
Thank you
Daniel
Unfortunately I am not managing the tutorials anymore, but I can pass on your comment to the current powers that be. I would imagine this would be a high priority going forward.
