Mass MRP Area assignment in Material master SAP S/4 HANA 1709

Since this is my first blog just wanna to share simplifications in S/4 HANA .because I am interested in MRP in HANA (With Simplification).

This blog will gives you an understanding of mass assignment and deletion of MRP area to material master in SAP S/4HANA environment.

MRP Area is special feature in HANA. Its simplifies the material Planning like Plant level,Storage location level and Subcontracting level.

Particular Storage location can be excluded from MRP by using Storage location MRP area.

MRP Area can be assigned to material master by using following steps,

SE38:

Program: RMMDDIBE 

Select the Material and plant also enter the required MRP area.

select the required MRP parameter like MRP Group and MRP type and lot sizing procedure etc. Also select forecast data if required.

Execute the transaction MRP will be assigned to material master.

If deletion flag and reset deletion flag  for the particular MRP area below steps to be followed. ALso you can use simulation mode and Save log

Note:

Same can be used for copying the reference MRP area to required MRP area.

Conclusion:

We can use this above steps to add and delete the MRP area to material master with required MRP Parameter like MRP type Lot size forecast model and order point etc.
