HANA system detection in SAP Lama 3.0

In My documentation, i will explain how to detect SAP HANA Database into SAP Lama 3.0. Its My personal experience,am trying to give some back ground and how to detect the HANA into Lama 3.0. This Config is on premises again, please make a note if you are doing it in Cloud, please check the necessary documentation and SAP relevant notes.

here Am using SAP Lama 3.0 SP08 and HANA 2.0 MDC Database.

we need to install the SAP Adaptive Extensions Installation as per the given sap note:1759181 in HANA host.

Note: if you are discover as whole system, i mean application as well HANA DB, you need to install the same on application server side as well.

if you see any issues, please refer the error logs and take corrective actions.

the hdbuserstore entry for the SYSTEMDB needs to be add by executing the below command .

saphostctrl -host <database_host_name> -user <user_name> <password> -dbname SYSTEMDB@<database_name> -dbtype hdb -dbuser <DBuser> -dbpass <DBpassword> -function SetDatabaseProperty DBCredentials=SET -dboption User=<dbuser> -dboption Password=<dbpassword>

one these two steps are done, you will be see the HANA DB in Lama dashboard.

you will see the all available option to manage the HANA DB, when you click on operations.
