Analysis Path Framework (APF) provides reuse components that allow you to build and enhance interactive analytical Web applications. You can use these applications to explore KPIs and their influencing factors by drilling down into multidimensional representations of data, such as charts or tables.
A Step by step Configuration for APF:
Customize the BSANLY_APF_RUNTIME_SRV OData Service
Goto–> /n/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE transaction code
Click on Add Service
Choose the below standard OData service and click on Get Services.
Changed the standard service into customized service and saved in the local object.
and click on continue
service added successfully.
Goto SICF transaction code and activate the below services.
Add the below standard or converted customized role to the user and then, in order to edit the authorization tree and apply the below changes.
Authorization object /UIF/LREP must be added to any role.
To create configurations using the APF Configuration Modeler and to execute them, select APFADMIN and select APFUSER to run the configuration.
Select a Role and go to the Authorizations entry tree
Click on the manually tab as shown below
Add /UIF/LREP authorization object manually(If not in the tree)
In order to requirement assign the field values.
Assigned apfadmin and apfuser values.
Click on ok and generate the authorization objects…
Below roles and Fiori catalog group and catalog ids are mandatory to load the APF configuration.
- SAP_CA_BCG_APF_MODELING(Analysis Path Framework)
- SAP_CA_BC_APF_MODELING(APF Modeling) for the APF Configuration Modeler
- SAP_CA_BC_APF_EXECUTION(APF Execution) for the generic runtime application
- SAP_TC_CA_APF_COMMON(SAP: APF Technical Catalog)
Now login FIORI launch page and check the APF tiles in the home page.
Open the APF Configuration Modeler Tile.
Click on the ‘+’ symbol to create a new application.
If we access the above popup screen after clicking on ‘+’ means the installation completed successfully.
Now the FIORI Developer can use the APF Configuration Modeler Tile.
