As the transformation of our Solution Manager was not only a SUM and afterwards a SWPM, I want do display the hole way to a proper Konfiguration on 2 Hosts, with 2 Hana Tenants with seperated Schema.

Status: Solution Manager 7.1 SP15

every Thing on one Host: DoubleStack System ABAP / JAVA with local Oracle DB and Wily Interscope

Upgrade to SOLMAN 7.2

First Step: put Wily Interscope to seperate Host

This helps to make clear System load

Second Step: SUM - Upgrade from Version 7.1 SP15 to 7.2 SP05

various documentation on SAP net or elsewhere document this very well

Status: ABAP und Java Upgraded, but still the old one ...

Our Solution Manager is still something like a double Stack System (in the DB) and with some old Konfiguration to the physical Hostname. I wanted to have them seperated and wanted to move both Instances on virtual Hostnames!

To change this there was more to do now !

System Change to real seperated Systems

Step 1: Systemkopie with SWPM from OSP to ABAP Sandbox System OSS

create a new Abap Sandbox on a seperate host

Step 2: Systemkopie with SWPM from JSP to JAVA Sandbox System JSS

Make a new Java Sandbox on a separate host

Step 3: Delete original Java Instance JSP

use SWPM to delete the original Java System, delete user sapjava1 and all schemas/tables

Step 4: Systemkopie with SWPM from Sandbox Java JSS to productive JSP

create new Java Instance from sandbox System to have seperated Tenant and Schema

Step 5: Move productive ABAP and JAVA to new Windows 2016 Server

do this as usual with SWPM

Status final: ABAP und Java and Wily Interscope on seperate hosts on virtuel IP

Conclusion: A lot of work for a proper devided double Stack Solution Manager System

I would appreciate it, if you show me your way to the new Solution Manager !
