SAP Cloud Platform Identity Provisioning: New capabilities in January 2019
We have recently released new capabilities for the Identity Provisioning service, SAP’s solution for identity lifecycle management in the cloud.
As part of this release we added a connector for SAP Marketing Cloud, which allows customers to use this application both as a source and target for the provisioning of identities. The connector even integrates SAP Marketing Cloud with SAP Identity Management for those customers that have implemented hybrid identity management based on the integration of SAP Identity Management and SAP Cloud Platform Identity Provisioning service. The connector is currently available as a beta version.
In addition to the SAP Marketing Cloud connector, SAP Cloud Platform Identity Provisioning now also fully supports Microsoft Active Directory, by adding the ability to configure Active Directory as a target system.
You will find the full list of new capabilities in our release notes on the SAP Help Portal.
Hello Christian Cohrs, we are currently doing a PoC of SAP IPS. Are there any plans to also support SAP Hybris Commerce Cloud as target system? Do you also think about push scenarios for other source systems than SAP IAS?
Hello Michael, both of these topics are currently in discussion and part of our roadmap plans. However, I can't make any promises regarding the timeline.
Hi Christian Cohrs thanks for your blog. Is there also support for SAP Business ByDesign planned?
