ConocoPhillips and SAP at the Milano International SAP Conference for Oil and Gas

ConocoPhillips is embarking on a nxtgenERP program to deliver a modern ERP platform that enables efficient ways of working, drives business value, and supports our strategic objectives.  The company will standardize our process globally and aligned to industry standards; rationalize the current set of applications; establish enterprise data standards; focus investments on what drives value; and establish governance to sustain the benefits achieved. 

ConocoPhillips has embarked on a strategic program to redefine and modernize the in-scope capabilities, including Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Capital Planning, and Capital Projects.  In addition, SAP and ConocoPhillips are collaborating with other industry members and SAP/Accenture to define the SAP Upstream Cloud. 

The S/4HANA Cloud for Oil & Gas solution will be the platform for the digital transformation of the industry. The solution will support oil & gas companies in their journey to a complete cloud environment and embed new technology such as machine learning for automation of finance processes in accounting and revenue management.

The SAP product roadmap includes deliveries for 2019 to enable Upstream administrative processes in subsidiaries and deliveries in 2020 and 2021 to enable upstream operating companies to run their core processes in the cloud.
