SAP S/4 hana Sales 1610 certification

I wanted to share my experience on how I cleared my SAP S/4 Hana Sales certification.

It all started one day when my colleagues where talking of the importance of doing certification in S/4 Hana. It was nudging on one corner of my mind on the need of doing a certification. Though being an SD consultant for more than 12 years (with some MM exposure) I haven’t done my certification on SD.

All these pushed me towards taking a certification, but how do I start, that is where I came across SAP certification HUB. This gives you a flexibility of taking the certification exam on cloud and the good part, from your home.

When it was told certification on cloud, most of us would think that it could be SAP cloud certification (not on -premise), if not many, at least I was relating like that.Understood that we can take both On premise and Cloud certification in cloud (certification hub), where we can clear 6 different certification if cleared on first attempt.

The most important part is preparing for the exam, this would be easy if we have SAP learning hub access. Each certification has a “Study Guide”. This study guide gives us the reference of the leaning material and its reference number. If we have learning hub access we can easily search for the relevant material very easily and we have to just go thru those.

Getting learning hub access is little costly, I got the help from my company and they gave me access.

The learning hub also has model assessment, which is at basic level, the final exam questions will totally differ form this, clearing this model assessment would give us some confidence.

While going thru the learning material, please prepare notes, at least the heading and summary of what was covered, which would be of immense help while you revise.

Start preparing for the exam after you had fixed a date in the learning hub, the learning hub access will be for a year and as said above, one can clear 6 exams (on first attempt), so it would be wise to clear the exam at the earliest. Fixing an exam date would help us to focus on our target, else we would keep postponing the exam date thinking that we have a year.

Finally, I would have to say that for experienced guys this would be a cake walk as we already know about the standard SD existing functionality, S/4 HANA part is what that needs to be concentrated more, which would be almost 40% of the questions, which also includes FIORI (refer to the study guide).

On the exam day be calm and focused, you can nail it!

Arputharaj, I am planning on taking the S/4 SD Certification too and your article about the SAP learning hub is very helpful. I have access to learning hub but I don't seem to have access to the TS410 material. Is there any way to connect  with you and get some insights?

      Hi Chandra,

The material what you are searching for is related to "Business Process Integration with SAP S/4HANA 1610" and not SD related certification, which anyway I'm finding in the learning hub if you search using that material number. Also ensure that the learning hub you get is a paid one as only then you have access to the learning materials.

But If you are planning to do SAP S/4 HANA sales certification then I would recommend " SAP S/4HANA Sales Upskilling"

Arputharaj, thanks for responding. I am sorry that I had a typo in my response. I meant C_TS460. I have access to learning hub and downloaded the course catalog. In the catalog there is a tab called as '02 Content - Publised'. It contains the list of available courses in the SAP Learning Hub with course details. The following link is available in the catalog pointing to the C_TS460 couse but I am getting an error.

I have tried searching for the course in https://learninghub.sap.com/. I am clicking on the learning catalog icon on the home page, which is taking me to 'SAP Enterprise Support Academy' search page. I searched for 'C_TS460_1709' without any success. I have even searched based on the learning assets such as 'TSCM60_1_Col15 , TSCM60_2_Col15' from the study guide too. Please help. Can you tell me how you are getting to the material in the learning hub?

      Hello Arputharaj,

Do we have any pre-requisites before sitting for the exam C_TS460_1709? The site says - This certification exam is appropriate for those who are certified in any of the certification exams: "SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution, ERP 6.0 EhP7" / "SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution, ERP 6.0 EhP6" / "SAP Certified Application Associate - Order Fulfillment with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5" ..

Just a bit confused on whether it means that the previous ECC Versions' certification musth have been done before appearing for the S/4 HANA exam?

      Hi Prasad,

Thankyou for the great information about SAP S/4 Sales Certification.

I have a question regarding the 6 different certification we can do if cleared in first attempt that you mentioned. Are these any specific 6 certification we can do? Will the fees still be $552 if 6 certification are undertaken?

      Thank you
