SAP Experts and topics on the SAP HANA Operation Expert and Developer Summit – Part 1

Dear SAP Community,

my name is Kathrin Henkel and I’m part of the SAP HANA Product Management team and the project lead of the SAP HANA Operation Expert and Developer Summit taking place on 19.-20. March 2019 in Walldorf, Germany. Find more information about the summit in my previous blog post.

During the next couple of weeks, I would like to introduce you the SAP Experts supporting the SAP HANA Operation Expert and Developer Summit as well as the topics discussed during this event.

The event itself is separated into an operation and a developer part. Each part offers you the possibility to join six breakout sessions. In addition, we provide for the first-time dedicated slots for usability testing.

Let’s start with Breakout Session Slot 1 of the Operations and Developer Summit:

SAP HANA Operation Expert Summit:

Slot 1 – SAP HANA deployment in virtualized environments

This session will be supported by my colleagues Martin Heisig, Björn Dost and Paul Henter

During this 90min session they will offer you the possibility to discuss different options on how you can deploy SAP HANA in a virtualized infrastructure. They provide you an update on the latest certification of hyperconverged infrastructure and show you the roadmap of virtualization technology solutions for on-premise implementations.

SAP HANA Developer Summit:

Slot 1 – SAP HANA native development (XS Advanced)

This session will be supported by my colleague Harini Gunabalan

Harini will introduces you to SAP HANA XS Advanced architecture and concepts, how it differs from the SAP HANA XS Classic model, and how to get started with the development tool: SAP Web IDE for SAP HANA. She will also discuss this year’s improvements to these tools and programming models and take a sneak peek into the near future.

And BTW if you plan to attend please register now as seats are limited.

Stay tuned for more information.

Warm regards,
