We are surrounded by huge amount of data, looking for the best way to organize it. When it comes to business, tables is a popular structure allowing us to consume and process efficiently the data. Many times this is not enough, and additional fine-tuning is needed. For such cases, SAP Business One enables you to filter the data presented in tables:

Clicking the filter icon opens a filter window in the context of the presented table:

Here you can assign the required rules to the relevant fields, and choose the “Filter” button to apply your filters. The filtered table is refreshed accordingly, and if needed you can fine tune your filter until the desired data is displayed in the table. The filter functionality is available for reports and queries in which the are results displayed in flat tables.

Available in SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA and SAP Business One. This tip and all the other tips are available on the Tip of the week community page. You can also visit the Implementation Arena for useful implementation tips.
