If your company is a service provider, efficiency must be a key factor in your regular course of work. In SAP Business One, the customer equipment card is the heart of the service cycle, and hence must be created before taking any further steps. If the services you provide are related to items with serial numbers, you can set SAP Business One to automatically create customer equipment card for each serial number that is issued via delivery or A/R invoice:
This way, when a customer opens a service call for a specific item, the customer equipment card is already available, saving the user and the customer precious time. This setting can be changed at any time.
