Recap of my SAP Community Year 2018

Penning this recap to wrap up the year.
Enjoying your virtual company over the past months.
Reaching out to others for help.
Switching from passive to active community member.
Ongoing learning about concepts foreign to me.
New experience with taking up blogging.
Another year gone by far too quickly.
Laughing out loud at some responses received.

Really surprised and honored when named MoM in May.
Earned some missions while learning a lot.
Commenting on blogs interacting with others.
Asking “some” questions when all else had failed.
Provding answers to questions as time and knowledge allowed.

Stirring the pot a bit with a blog post like this or a question like this.
Aquiring followers, follow some others.
Publishing blogs about setting up a central ATC-system.

Coming to grips – even if slowly! – with ABAP OO.
OpenSAP courses and discussions about them providing new insights.
Making the featured contributors list with some of my blogs.
Mulling over the benefits of unit testing and TDD.
Unwrapping the clues during the fun treasure hunt.
New insights gained from your contributions.
Initiating some and participating in Coffee Corner discussions.
Thankful for the many tips & tricks shared freely by others.
Yearlong learning with the help of your contributions.

Thanks a lot for 2018 and all the best for 2019!

Cheers
Bärbel

      Bärbel,

This is actually a really great summary/example of how an active user of SAP Community can share, connect, gain knowledge, and reap many other rewards from participating. In so many ways, it's really a circle/cycle of goodness!

Thank you so much for sharing this. And I love how the new blog category Personal Insights works perfectly for this content!

I'm glad you were honored by the Member of the Month recognition...but the choice (while unexpected for you) was no surprise to anyone who is familiar with your great work in SAP Community. 🙂

      Happy New Year!
