LATEST UPDATE: September 1, 2020 =========================================

The SAP Cloud Platform, SAP HANA Service will be retired in 2021. For more information, see

For the latest information about SAP HANA database-as-a-service, visit our blog post series about SAP HANA Cloud:

Introduction

By auditing activies for the SAP HANA Service, you can track who did (or tried to do) what and when in the database. It is a security feature, although the auditing itself, of course, does not provide any security.

Auditing is available in both the Neo and Cloud Foundry environments for the SAP Cloud Platform, SAP HANA Service. In the video tutorial below, we show you what you can do, what SAP has already done (at your service!), and how this works for the Cloud Foundry environment. For Neo, currently on SAP HANA 1.0 SPS 12, this works slightly different in the user interface --due mainly to a different SAP HANA cockpit release-- but in concept, it is the same idea.

In this video tutorial, we demonstrate the Auditing app using SAP HANA cockpit for the SAP Cloud Platform, SAP HANA Service in the Cloud Foundry environment.
