Have you checked out SAP’s rating and employee reviews on Glassdoor yet? If not, then you definitely should.

Glassdoor is the world’s most transparent jobs and recruiting marketplace, where employees can share insights and opinions about their work environments by leaving a company review, which is designed to capture a genuine and authentic look at what it’s like to work at that particular company. I always compare it to tripadvisor but for companies. You wouldn’t necessarily go to a restaurant, hotel, or even destination without reading the reviews online first, right? Well Glassdoor provides the same concept but for candidates seeking jobs and for employers seeking employee feedback. And since SAP obtained an impressive combined global viewership of 5.1 million views on its Glassdoor pages since last year, job seekers are curious about what it’s like to work here.

Thanks to our over 9,400+ (and counting!) employee reviews, SAP has risen from a 3.7 to 4.5 overall ranking on Glassdoor since the end of 2015. 93% of the respondents would refer SAP to a friend and SAP is now outranking most of our closest competitors.

One of the most exciting times of year is when Glassdoor announces their “Employees’ Choice Best Places to Work” awards, which list the best employers in five key markets: the U.S., the U.K., Canada, France, and Germany. Unlike other awards, there is no self-nomination or application process, instead it’s entirely based on the feedback our employees have voluntarily and anonymously shared on Glassdoor. To determine the winners of the awards, Glassdoor evaluates all company reviews shared by employees over the past year. Because it’s always announced in December, I’m eagerly awaiting the results for a good few months before.

I’m so excited to announce that SAP is the only company in the world to be on all 5 of the annual Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Best Places to Work 2019 country lists, making the list in the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, as well as receiving a first-place win in Germany!  No other company made 4 lists in 2019 and only 3 companies made 3 lists. To reiterate what an awesome place SAP is, this is the second year in a row that SAP has been on all 5 lists! SAP employees are happy employees.

  • Germany #1

  • Canada #3

  • UK #8

  • France #23

  • US (large companies) #27

If you ask me why do I think SAP is such a great place to work? We work for an innovative company bringing to life some of the most amazing technology and cloud software breakthroughs. We are a people-focused brand whose mission and vision is to help the world run better and improve people’s lives, and we offer well-known flexible working options and best-in-industry employee benefits. Our employee value proposition (EVP) campaign slogan is “Bring Everything You Are. Become Everything You Want.” For me, SAP couldn’t have said it better. This is a company that offers you opportunity, purpose, and growth; where anything is possible and you are always empowered.

I spend a good portion of my day talking about Glassdoor, the importance of leaving a review, and how our employees’ reviews directly make a difference to candidates in their job search. Sometimes, when I hold Glassdoor workshops for my colleagues, they approach me and say, “Adam, I read SAP reviews on Glassdoor during my job search. And when I was offered the position, I didn’t hesitate to accept after reading such an overwhelmingly positive amount of employee feedback. It made me certain that this was a place I wanted to work.”
