The scope of SAP Cloud Platform steadily increases as our developers add numerous features and new services every month. We keep you updated on those changes with our release notes. At the same time, we know that every one of you is not using the entire portfolio, but all customers have their very own set of services in use and it was hard to find out what changes are applicable for your landscape. We know you would like to see only the features that are of interest to you.

In response to these demands, we announce a new design for the What’s New for SAP Cloud Platform that solves this issue.

What’s the difference?

You have all the content in one page with a separate entry for each component for a given date, tagged for the relevant capability and environment, and by the type of information you are shown – new, changed, announcement.1

You can filter the contents by Component, Capability, Type, Environment, and period. You can also see a preview of some upcoming releases.2

You only see the information you need for the period you’ve selected. You can also send specific notes, using the dynamic URL created as you filter the content.

If you want you can search for something specific using the Search bar on top of the filtering capabilities, keeping in mind it won’t affect the page URL like filtering does.3

You can see the help for the release notes, share or print your selection, or switch between views using the thumbnails.4

What do you think of the improved What’s New? Does it have everything you as a user might need? You can leave comments on this blog or use the Your Feedback button to share your opinion and recommendations with us.5

You beat me to it Maksimiliana Lazarova I was thinking of publishing a blog about this when I stumbled upon it. I was always a fan of the previous What’s New site but this hits a home run. I tweeted about the upcoming features regularly but only focused on the Portal really. Will be using this alot – thanks for sharing the good news!

    Thanks!
