SAP Partners and ISVs are often interested about SAP events and technical content, looking to be up to date in terms of market and SAP technologies. With most of SAP events focusing on SAP Customers (for good reasons), there are few opportunities around for the SAP ecosystem to connect and hear about from SAP experts.

SAP Partner Innovation Lifecycle Services (SAP PLS), a global organization with presence in 10 countries and focused in quality and enablement services for SAP Partners and ISVs, has been working on creating new content and opportunities to networking with its public. And is very aware about the need of creating a confident environment where these partners can find the information and opportunities they need to innovate through SAP solutions and platforms, making possible to them grow in the market.

Hearing its partners, SAP PLS Partner Meetup was defined as an opportunity to share SAP technologies roadmaps, technical sessions, partners success cases, and most important, to provide the partners an opportunity to meet and connect with each other, as well as SAP experts. Besides the relevant content, this event is a great deal to approximate people and helping to generate business opportunities. SAP PLS Partner Meetup has had editions in several countries and received good visibility from SAP partners around the world, as well generating a positive feedback.

Recently in Brazil, were SAP has offices and an innovation lab, SAP PLS promoted the second edition of this event in Sao Paulo city.  It took place on September 10th, a day before SAP Forum Brazil, receiving more than 50 invitees of 24 different SAP partners. In this year’s edition, SAP experts delivered technical sessions about SAP Leonardo Machine Learning, SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Business One. A high point was a partner testimonial presented by Eugenio Garcia, product manager at Genexus International, where he explained to the participants the trajectory of Genexus on innovating through different SAP platforms, the support received from SAP teams to ensure successfully projects, until their current experience on co-innovating with SAP PLS in a project with focus on machine learning.

The event took a whole afternoon and was very interactive, with a great amount of relevant questions from the audience, depicting participants’ interest in the presented contents. Counted also with time for a coffee break, a laid-back moment when it was possible to have an informal communication among the partners and SAP experts.  Before the event closure, partners that have recently certified solutions with SAP were called to the stage to receive their certificates.

All in all, the event was very exciting, opening opportunities for new editions in Brazil and in other Latin America countries, to give more partners an opportunity for such great experience.
