With "Zoom" video conferencing, the SAP Enterprise Support Academy is enhancing the collaboration, training, and technical support experience for SAP Enterprise Support customers registered on the Enterprise Support edition of SAP Learning Hub. This enhancement is currently running on all Expert-guided implementation sessions, beginning November 2018.
This virtual workshop-style environment now allows participants a new feature of extended video, in which webcam views are visible for all participants - as in a 'classroom' like environment, opening the floor to a more engaging interaction and collaboration not only with the SAP expert, but an encouraged interaction with you and other customers who are participating in the session.
Experienced participants are encouraged to refer to these materials to learn how to join the session, and what has changed in relation to the previous technical hosting and design.

What is an Expert-guided implementation (EGI)?
EGI is the premiere scheduled offering deliverable of the SAP Enterprise Support Academy, available to SAP Enterprise Support customers, as part of their SAP Enterprise Support (ES) maintenance contract or SAP Enterprise Support, cloud editions. The EGI is a workshop-style, multi-day remote session with experienced SAP service engineers, who enable participants to customize and execute complex activities in their own system landscape (for example, commissioning the service desk, or setting up test management in SAP Solution Manager). Specific expert-guided implementations are also available for preparing and customizing guided self-services.

So if you are in the middle of an SAP software implementation and would also like to take advantage of the offerings included in your SAP maintenance agreement, and want to enjoy a live setting and collaboration style with other customers as yourself, also involved in perhaps a similar implementation, then take advantage of having an SAP expert explain the execution of the target activity step-by-step. You and other participants will then execute the demonstrated steps within your own SAP environment, and if necessary, you may receive direct guidance and support from the SAP expert.
