#sitNL turns 10 (? woohoo ?)
SAP Inside Track Netherlands, #sitNL in short, turns 10 this year. I’m so proud that our SAP community makes it possible to run this event for already 10 years. Since the beginning sitNL is scheduled on a Saturday, that means that for already 10 years we can get SAP community peers to come visit us during the weekend!! That can only be possible by providing a great agenda with SAP friends that want to share and inspire. And that is exactly what we stand for – sitNL is the place to share, inspire and learn. And to have fun of course ?
This year will feel familiar to you. High quality sessions together with enough time to gather, network and hang around. On Friday we want to offer SAP masterclasses and on Saturday November 10, the sitNL event itself. And again we will try to recap SAP TechEd in 1 day with 3 tracks offering 24 sessions. Our agenda will be published soon. Some highlights: SAP Leonardo, Mendix, Data hub, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP UI5, Smart Coffee, …
Location will be in ‘s-Hertogenbosch at SAP NL office on Friday (Amerikastraat 10) and Quinso office on Saturday (Amerikastraat 3).
The event got sold out in only a few days this year. Even before I got to write this blog. If at SAP TechEd this week, you might spot one of the sitNL enthusiasts – recognizable by the sticker.
And for all those melancholic types – here’s the link to the first one in 2009. Downstairs at Ciber office, some really nice memories. That brings me to my request to you: please share your best, funniest, … #sitNL moment in the comments bellow or at Twitter with #sitNLmemory.
For now I’d like to thank:
- You as early birds registrations that already booked a seat without knowing the agenda
- My co organizers Jan Penninkhof, Ronald Konijnenburg, Sven van Leuken, W. Snoep, Roel van den Berge, Tamas Szirtes, Fred Verheul. Without them there would not be a sitNL as I’m a kind of chaotic guy
- Our sponsors Quinso, Interdobs, Ciber Experis, Dimensys, McCoy & Partners, Espresso Tutorials, SOA People, Expertum and SAP who make sure we have a nice location, catering and a surprise to all attendees
Very nice! It takes so much time and effort to organize these events. I only co-hosted one several years ago. That was a big undertaking. So for you to do it for TEN years. Amazing. People really give up their weekends? That's a dedicated group. I hope you have an excellent group of people there. OK - I know you'll have an excellent group of people there. Best of the best here at SAP Community.
