As in Las Vegas before, the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK team also looks forward to meeting you next week at SAP TechEd 2018 Barcelona. We will show you how to best develop Cloud-native applications on SAP Cloud Platform that integrate SAP S/4HANA.
One of our previous blog posts gave an overview of sessions about the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK at TechEd. In this blog post, we want you to meet the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK team which will be at SAP TechEd Barcelona (like we did for Las Vegas before).
We will explain where you can meet us at TechEd to get to know us and ask your questions.

Stay tuned for updates to this blog post as we get closer to the opening of TechEd Barcelona! There are still a few sessions and activities in the pipeline, like a live interview with partners from the show floor. For a quick overview of all SDK-related sessions, check out the filtered session catalog.

The team

These five colleagues from the SDK team are on-site in Barcelona. Approach anyone of us with any questions about the SDK and about extending SAP S/4HANA on SAP Cloud Platform.

Marika Marszalkowski is senior developer and technical lead for SAP RealSpend, an innovative application that uses the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK.

In Barcelona, she will give a lecture on conversational UIs with the SDK, a hands-on, and a CodeJam about developing with the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK. See Marika's sessions in the session catalog for Barcelona. Additionally, approach Marika with all questions you have around the recently launched SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK for JavaScript (beta).

Daniel Kurzynski is senior developer for the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK continuous delivery toolkit.

In Barcelona, he explains how to continuously deliver extensions and gives a CodeJam on Cloud qualities. See Daniel's sessions in the session catalog for Barcelona.

Philipp Herzig heads three two-pizza teams responsible for the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK and SAP RealSpend at the SAP Innovation Center Potsdam.

He will give a lecture on addressing unique business requirements with the SDK, an introduction to intelligent side-by-side extensions, and two CodeJams on integrating machine learning and blockchain. See Philipp's sessions in the session catalog for Barcelona.

Henning Heitkötter is product owner of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK.

His sessions in Barcelona include an overview lecture on extending SAP S/4HANA on SAP Cloud Platform, a hands-on session about the SDK as part of the application programming model for SAP Cloud Platform, and a lecture on testing on SAP Cloud Platform. See Henning's sessions in the session catalog for Barcelona.

Marco Dahms is senior developer for the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK.

Marco will be your central point of contact for questions around the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK at the expert bar SAP S/4HANA Extensibility and the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK on the show floor.

By the way, most of us are co-authors of the book Extending SAP S/4HANA and also part of the team of the openSAP course Create and Deliver Cloud-Native SAP S/4HANA Extensions. If you want to know more about the book or course, approach us!

Meet the team onsite

In addition to the educational sessions about the SDK at TechEd, you can also meet the team in other formats that specifically foster discussion onsite.

In Barcelona, we have three sessions that are especially relevant for partners: in our lecture CNA309 "Addressing Unique Business Requirements with SAP Cloud Platform", SAP partner msg will join us on stage to share their experience when building an application with the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK. Additionally, Philipp will host a demo session showcasing a partner application (Thursday, 10:30, Partner Demo Theater) and a meet up targeted at partners (Wednesday, 11:00, MeetUp Lounge 2).

In total, we host three meet ups. A meet up is meant for getting to know concepts around the SDK and meeting the team in an informal setting, exchanging with fellow developers, and asking your questions. In addition to the partner meet up mentioned above, Henning hosts a general meet-up on Cloud-native development that takes place Thursday, 10:00 (MeetUp Lounge 1). Daniel hosts another meet-up specifically on DevOps, and why you should adopt it before it's too late. It takes place on Wednesday, 15:30 (MeetUp Lounge 2).

Our code review session on Tuesday will also be interactive. We want to discuss best practices and review code that integrates SAP S/4HANA into applications on SAP Cloud Platform. We will bring some code samples that highlight the power of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK, but we also hope you bring your code and questions. It's like Stack Overflow, but at TechEd! The session takes place at 13:15 on Tuesday in the code review area of the show floor. Last time in Las Vegas, we live-answered a question on Stack Overflow about the SDK - stop by to see what happens this time!

Finally, you can also visit Marco, the remainder of our team, and our colleagues at the expert bar SAP S/4HANA Extensibility and the SAP S/4HANA Cloud SDK on the show floor. Drop by as your schedule allows and get in contact with us.

These sessions come in addition to all the other sessions about the SDK. While you are waiting for TechEd Barcelona to begin next Tuesday, why not check out the recordings of two SDK sessions (link 1, link 2) from Las Vegas?

Finally, don't miss out on the opening keynote by SAP Chief Technology Officer Björn Goercke to see how the SDK fits into the big picture of SAP's technology strategy. The live stream starts Tuesday, 9:00 (CEST).

We are looking forward to seeing you at TechEd Barcelona (or in Bangalore later this year)!
