Build a custom online app using Mobile Development Kit

In this blog post I would like to share my experience building an online app using Mobile Development Kit (MDK). I was asked once how to build an online app which is always connected to the backend SAP system.There are plenty of resources/documentation on how to build an offline app and hence I have created a video which explains the steps required to build an online app.

Recently, Sue Berry had shared the steps for the same in a blog post “Build a Mobile Development Kit Online App”.

In the below video, I have also explained how to build a custom mobile client for Mobile Development Kit and install it in an iOS device.

      Hi Murali Shanmugham

       

      I am trying to create one MDK application which consumes the OData of my CAP Application. the webide is able to read the data while creating the service.

      But, Initialization of OData is failing when I am testing the application. I am not even getting the logs hence I am not able to get the cause of failure.
