Are we talking about first experience with SP08 and its new features (aka "Labs preview") or just about standard demo of released version (SP07)?

It is never a standard demo with us. 🙂
What we are doing at the test lab is giving you the chance to a) see new functionality while going on your own through a realistic scenario - with guidance when you need it and b) seeing new functionality of SP08 that has not yet been released.
In both cases we are not showing a demo, but it will be a hands-on experience for the tester, and you will be able to give feedback. We always take this feedback to constantly improve our product.
