Let’s contribute – Calling all SAP Developers to participate on #hacktoberfest

Hello everyone!

Long time I don’t write here. I confess have missed doing it here.

Well, I am back for invite all SAP Developers to participate of #hacktoberfest.

You don’t know about it? “No problema”, I will explain.

The Hacktoberfest it’s a event created for encourage contributions to the open source ecosystem. It’s a better way to all enhance your abilities, learn and share. This event is held in partnership with digitalocean, github and twilio. Why are we out of this for so long?

Prizes

The Hacktober team will offer for the first 50.000 developers where make 5 pull requests in october a t-shirt, but the very best prize is the knowledge and fun you will have ;).

If you have any doubt about it, don’t be afraid to question in this blog, I’ll answer all 😉

How to participate

Prerequisites (All obligatory)

  • Must have a Github account and know how to use it (If you never access a github, read this);
  • For all members who have one or more repositories (ABAP, Fiori/UI5, HANA or others SAP technologies), you need to put the label “hacktoberfest” on the your opened issues;
  • For all want to contribute, search in search box with label:hacktoberfest state:open type:issue language:abap (or change it with the name of technology).

Step by step

1 – Access the site https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com and click in “start hacking”:

2 – Click in “Register Now”:

3 – Authorize the digitalocean to access your personal data:

4 – Put your fullname, e-mail and click in “Submit”:

5 – Now start to contribute 😉
