Editorial comment [December 20, 2021]: We decided to discontinue the offering of the SAP Landscape Management 3.0 Trial Appliance that could be deployed via the SAP Cloud Appliance Library (CAL). Please get in touch with your SAP Account Executive to talk about alternatives. Thanks for your understanding!

What is an appliance ?

SAP Landscape Management 3.0, Enterprise Edition (Preconfigured Appliance) consists of SAP Landscape Management software and preconfigured demo scenarios with sample data, that helps you to explore the key functionality of this solution.

How can the appliance be consumed ?

The preconfigured SAP Landscape Management trial solution can be consumed using SAP Cloud Appliance Library (SAP CAL) in your preferred cloud provider account (e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP). There are no fees on top of the infrastructure costs – use it for free for 90 days.

The appliance deployment takes approx. 30 minutes. After that, you can start using the SAP Landscape Management (Preconfigured Solution). No additional setup is required.

This offering comes with a built-in 90-day test license for SAP Landscape Management and SAP CAL. You only have to pay for using the cloud provider account (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Registration in AWS/Azure/GCP and SAP CAL takes a few minutes. In addition, you can get up & running quickly by watching our how-to videos on YouTube

To get your trial – you need to follow the next steps:

  1. Log on to SAP Cloud Appliance Library using this Link.
  2. Create an instance for the solution SAP Landscape Management 3.0 SP13, Enterprise Edition (preconfigured solution).

How to run the test scenarios ?

You can explore the key functionality of SAP Landscape Management by performing the preconfigured exercises within the SAP Landscape Management, preconfigured solution. The document  provides detailed information about the available test scenarios,  and a step-by-step description.

Even if you are new to SAP Landscape Management, you will benefit from the SAP Landscape Management appliance and will be able to execute all the test scenarios.

Enjoy this new experience…

It looks like there's something wrong with the link for the "preconfigured exercises".   It launches a page with Sorry at the top.  The message on the page says: "The system cannot generate a dynamic product page for this state, because a custom or merged product page exists for other states."

Can the exercises be found somewhere else on the site?

      Hi Ghochi,

can you please check if your user has the authorization for what you are looking for? Otherwise please try to login with another user.

      Hope this can help.

      Hi Annika,

      Struggle with the User authentication.

Get "User authentication failed" for all users, also for the well defined ones, e.g. TRIALoperator or TRIALreadonly.

      Any thought?
