Report rendering issue
Report column header changes in CR report after upgrade from BI 4.0 to BI 4.2 SP4. There was a minor alignment change in the column header of the report in CR after server upgrade which also impacted the exported PDF format.
4.0 Version 4.2 Version
There is a minor variance in rendering in BI 4.0 and BI 4.2 which resulted in difference. Difference is negligible and can be ignored.
Labels and Letters aren’t printing in correct format. Letter body is printing from the top of page overlapping with the logo.
- Login to BI Launchpad
- Navigate to Preference icon
- Click on Crystal reports
- Select PDF one click printing settings and save & close
- Logoff and re login
Swap in data values
Swap in row values is observed in Customer related columns and data columns
Below screenshot shows swap in row values
There is no sorting order (ascending/descending) in the report and the records difference appear because of row swap and data is getting displayed based on the behavior of crystal versions. No Data issues observed.
Above fixes are based on our follow up with SAP and always get concurrence from SAP support and proceed further.one of the supportive note referred during the issue
