Looks like Live office is going to be a separate product and is no longer be integrated with Analysis for Office as per 2018 BI Convergence Plan!    Dallas Marks  any thoughts?

Apparently SAP ran into some technical difficulties. But Analysis for MS Office is clearly the "go forward" tool, as it will be gaining additional planning and SAP Analytics Cloud features. Live Office will also continue on the roadmap, albeit in a smaller font size, to support the use cases that cannot be migrated to Analysis for MS Office.

Github repo's support is on the table.

However, there are no shareable details yet and it might change before product is released.
