University of Notre Dame Fall Career Center Events
Two additional SAP professionals joined me to represent SAP at two University of Notre Dame Career Center events this week on campus. We were very busy meeting and talking with students for two days at the events described below. Students from a variety of academic disciplines visited our tables and demonstrated great enthusiasm for careers with SAP. In addition to building brand awareness, SAP is seeking candidates for the North America Services Early Talent Program , SAP Academy, Graduate Impact Leadership Program, summer internships and the SAP Silicon Valley Next Talent Program. We connected with many students and collected resumes or electronic credentials that will be used in the next steps of the recruiting process.
I was fortunate to have help from SAP Colleagues Lloyd Burke and Steve Pino, who shared their personal SAP stories with current students. We asked two of our recent summer interns to stop by and help as well. They were able to tell personal stories and share experiences from the recent summer.
The following two events kept us busy on Tuesday and Wednesday:
- IT, Analytics, and Operations (ITAO) Career Connect (Technology Meet & Greet) – Tuesday September 4. This event was hosted by the ITM Club (from the Mendoza College of Business) and it was a great opportunity for firms to interact with Business Analytics and IT Management majors. Computer Science and ACMS majors, as well as CDT and Data Science minors were also invited. Prior to the Fall Career Expo, the event included many of the different technology majors for a more informal opportunity to connect with students that have a passion for technology.
- MBA Career Meet & Greet – Wednesday September 5. Our team used this event to meet with a long line of interested MBA students. We explained our IMPACT rotational program along with other SAP opportunities and encouraged candidates to apply and share resumes.
Steve Pino also spoke to students in the SAP Predictive Analytics Class on campus between these two events. He shared analytics use case stories of purpose driven innovation from several customer engagements with the students.
