Leverage your SAP Data Hub Connections with SAP Agile Data Preparation

In a previous blog, I showed how to Leverage your SAP Data Hub Adapter with SAP Agile Data Preparation. This time, I would like to go a step further and demonstrate how to Leverage your SAP Data Hub Connections with SAP Agile Data Preparation, which is a new feature with SAP Agile Data Preparation version 1.24.

As before, I update my SAP Agile Data Preparation components to a supported stack as follows (again please check the respective PAM for the supported combinations):

  • HANA Version 2.00.031.00
  • HANA_IM_DP Version 2.3.0
  • HANA_IM_ESS Version 2.3.0
  • HANA_IM_ADP Version 1.24.1

Then, I follow the steps for Connecting to SAP Data Hub Sources. With that I can Create a SAP Data Hub Connection:

With the details as per Connecting to SAP Data Hub Sources:

Subsequently I am presented with my SAP Data Hub systems:

And their respective connections:

And chose my RASPI table from my Default SAP VORA Catalog Connection:

Interestingly, this triggers a regeneration of the respective SAP Data Hub Profile:

With the result visible in the SAP Agile Data Preparation Fact Sheet tab:

Finally, I can apply actions to the downloaded sample data set that are then applicable to the whole data set:
