If you’re wondering where on our metaphorical SuccessConnect game board you should stack your time and attention chips, read on!
Upgrade2Success is our SAP SuccessFactors program dedicated to SAP on-premise HCM customers to support you as you consider, plan for and ultimately move to the cloud with confidence. To eek out the gambling metaphor to its Nth degree… the very best way to place your bets, is to engage with us in person at SuccessConnect Vegas, 11th – 13th of September, where we will be running sessions dedicated to you, our on-prem customers, and making bespoke resources available to you across all three days.

Join us a day early to get set up for success at SuccessConnect
What is it? A full-day, complimentary session the day before the conference proper, designed to introduce you to Upgrade2Success, our experts and everything we have to offer, get you networking with like-minded peers, and help maximise your SuccessConnect experience by clearly “signposting” all of the sessions which will be of most relevance to you.
We will also have the pleasure of star guest speakers Fabio and Paul from Schlumberger who will be telling their own digital transformation story, revealing all of their lessons learned and top tips on moving to the cloud from SAP on-prem in a huge, multi-national, complex organisation. You really do not want to miss this opportunity to grill them in person!

How to get involved – This Prequel Summit is open only to registered SuccessConnect attendees and is offered at no additional cost. In order to secure your place, once you are registered for SuccessConnect, please email me on sophie.sheppard@sap.com and I will send you an invite, or you can let your SuccessFactors Account Executive know and they can ask me to send you an invitation. Then you need to accept the invitation to reserve your spot! I am most happy to help at any stage so please do contact me if you have any questions.
Who should attend? We recommend a maximum of 3 individuals from any one customer organization to protect the balance of the room and maximize networking for all. The Summit is only open to SAP on-premise or hybrid customers – it is not open to partners. The Prequel is intended for Heads of HRIS and business leaders from both HR and IT. We highly recommend bringing one person from both HR and IT on the day to truly get the most from the experience and a balanced view to take back to the team and your leadership!

A great overview of the Upgrade2Success program presented by our own Wim Valstar, Global Head of Content and expert on Digital Transformation. Wim will walk you through all of the tools, templates and resources available to you including a view of the different migration options open to you, our fantastic Data Migration Tool – InfoPorter and how to maximise your current relationship with SAP to make your migration easier. Wim has pulled this information together from the best of the best globally. This session will be especially useful for anyone unable to join the Prequel Summit on the 11th.
13.45 – 14.30 Breakout Session: Upgrade2Success: Customer Panel Discussion - Migrating from SAP ERP HCM to SAP SuccessFactors Solutions Made Easier
Our own Steve Schnoll will moderate a special panel discussion with Vistaprint, Whirlpool Corporation and Hershey’s to ask the candid questions which we know are pressing for you, to discover more about their stories and lessons learnt and we will also to open up to the floor for you to get some more real-life detail from these customers who have already made their digital transformation.
Vistaprint transformed from SAP ERP HCM to SAP SuccessFactors for 11,000 employees in 5 months via big bang rollout, with great user survey scores and thousands fewer HR tickets as a result.

I will be moderating a Panel of 3 fantastic ASUG members who have already been through their digital transformation and have kindly offered to share their insights. Come join us to listen to their biggest successes as well as what they wish they’d done differently or known before they started! Here’s a taster of each of their stories to whet your appetite!
American Airlines – Over 150K active employees and over 170K retirees were converted into Employee Central from AA and US Airways legacy HR systems. They implemented 110 net new integrations in SuccessFactors and modified/sunset over 70 legacy interfaces.
Schlumberger – More than 100K people representing over 140 nationalities and working in more than 85 countries worldwide. They wanted to shift the role of HR, drive productivity and empower their people.
Celanese – Around 7,700 employees, 1,000 managers, 150 HR users, 30 countries and 8 languages. They implemented Employee Central and Performance Management in under 9 months and have lots of advice on data integration, reporting, support, change management and much more.
