Overview of Latest BI Features in SAP Analytics Cloud Webcast Recap

SAP’s Jacob Stark gave this webcast yesterday.  Below are my brief notes.

Ability to link prompts – supported for HANA to HANA, BW to BW and only prompted once

Expand hierarchies and charts; keep context of what top level node is while looking at dimensions below; see it all at once

Ability to show time by the second; time series charts in past could see month/week/day and now down to the second – helpful for IoT data

Calculation between dates (order date, ship date), based on aggregation types – limited to just SAC models now

Set axis breaks in charts in Bubble and Scatterplot charts; you can do multiple breaks

Keyboard Shortcuts – some are familiar such as CTRL-S

      Hi Tammy,

      Thanks for the Recap, SAP Cloud Analytics is definitely a way to go.

      I am impressed that SAP bundled R-Visualization feature with amazing 3M cell threshold.

      Do we get to see more advanced charts, just to name a few (BoxPlot, SankeyDiagram, RadialChart)?
